Paloma

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (125 ml) ice cubes
  • 2 oz (60 ml) pink grapefruit juice
  • 1 ½ oz (45 ml) tequila
  • ½ oz (15 ml) lime juice
  • ½ oz (15 ml) pink grapefruit syrup or cane sugar syrup
  • Pinch of fleur de sel
  • 4 oz (125 ml) clear lemon-lime soft drink (such as 7UP)
  • Pink grapefruit wedge

Instructions

  1. Place the ice cubes in a chilled lowball whisky glass. Add the grapefruit juice, tequila, lime juice and grapefruit syrup. Add a pinch of fleur de sel. Stir. Top off with the soft drink.
  2. If desired, garnish the glass with a thin grapefruit wedge, the tip dipped in fleur de sel.
