  • 1 cup (175 g) red or green grapes, halved
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp ground anise seeds

  1. In a small pot, bring all of the ingredients to a boil. Simmer over low heat for 3 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and let cool completely at room temperature for 1 hour.

This quick and easy confit starring aniseed and leftover grapes is a great topping for yogourt or ice cream.
