Ингредиенты

  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
  • 19 oz (540 ml) crushed tomatoes with purée
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) chopped fresh basil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 can 19 oz (540 ml) white beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 egg
  • 3 cans 6 oz (170 g) tuna, drained and flaked
  • 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup (75 ml) chopped fresh chives
  • 3 tablespoons (45 ml) olive oil

Инструкция

  1. In a food processor, purée the beans and egg until smooth. Transfer to a bowl and add the tuna, 125 ml (1/2 cup) of breadcrumbs and the chives. Stir to combine. Adjust the seasoning.
  2. Place the remaining breadcrumbs in a shallow bowl. Set aside.
  3. Shape the tuna mixture into 12 patties with about 60 ml (1/4 cup) each. Coat with the breadcrumbs.
  4. In a large non-stick skillet, brown the patties in the oil for about 3 minutes per side.
  5. Serve with marinara sauce and a green vegetable.
