Italian-Style Dukkah
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup (150 ml) blanched almonds, toasted
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) sundried tomatoes (not in oil), finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) celery salt
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) hot pepper flakes, or more to taste
- Ground black pepper, to taste
- Olive oil, for serving
- Bread cubes, for serving
Instructions
- With a mortar and pestle or in a small food processor, pulse almonds into small pieces.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Place in a small bowl. Pour olive oil in another bowl. Serve with bread cubes to first soak in oil then press in dukkah.
- Dukkah can be kept for 1 week in the refrigerator.
