Turkey Burgers with Sriracha Mayonnaise
Give your burgers a makeover with this fresh, Asian-inspired blend of cilantro, lemongrass, fish sauce, soy sauce and a spot of sriracha for heat. These juicy turkey patties will have your kids flipping out.
Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) ground turkey
- 3 tbsp chopped cilantro
- 1 tbsp finely chopped lemongrass
- 2 tsp (10 ml) fish sauce
- 2 tsp (10 ml) soy sauce
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp (5 ml) sriracha or sambal oelek
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 leaves Boston lettuce
- 2 Lebanese cucumbers, cut into thin ribbons
- 1 cup (75 g) bean sprouts
- ½ cup (125 ml) sriracha mayonnaise
Instructions
- In a bowl, thoroughly combine all the ingredients.
- With slightly damp hands, shape the mixture into 4 patties. Brush with oil and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
