Pasta with Rosée Sauce
Ингредиенты
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
- 1 can (28 oz/796 ml) crushed or whole plum tomatoes
- 3 tbsp (45 ml) tomato paste
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (250 ml) milk
- 3/4 lb (340 g) long or short pasta of your choice
Инструкции
- In a pot over medium heat, soften the onion and garlic in the oil for 3 minutes. Add tomatoes and tomato paste and stir to combine. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring frequently. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a blender, purée the sauce until smooth. Return to the pot and keep warm.
