Ingredients

  • 4 whole chicken legs with skin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil
  • 1/2 tasse) de mielcup (125 ml) honey
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) harissa
  • 1/2 lemon, juice only

Instructions

  1. With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the chicken legs in a 13 x 9-inch (33 x 23 cm) baking dish. Sprinkle with the salt on both sides. Rub all over with the cut-side of the lemon half. Let sit for 5 minutes. Drizzle with the oil. Season with pepper.
  3. Bake for 1 hour or until the meat easily detaches from the bone and the skin is golden.
