Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) pastry flour
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) baking powder
- 1/3 cup (75 ml) cold vegetable shortening
- 6 tablespoons (90 ml) hot water, approximately
- A pinch salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) sugar
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) milk
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) 35% cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200 °C (400 °F).
