Curried Cabbage Noodles with Sautéed Beef
Ingredients
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil
- 8 cups (680 g) green cabbage thinly sliced into long strips
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) water
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) honey
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 1 lb (450 g) extra lean ground beef
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil
- 2 bell peppers of various colours, seeded and diced
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh dill
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the garlic in the oil. Add the cabbage and curry powder. Cook for 8 minutes, stirring constantly, or until the cabbage is al dente. Keep warm.
