Cajun Shrimp Burgers
Meet your new favourite summertime burger.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) green jalapeño Tabasco sauce
- 1 1/2 lbs (675 g) raw shrimp, shelled, deveined and patted dry
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) olive oil
- 1 yellow bell pepper, seeded and diced
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons (10 ml) chili powder
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) dry mustard
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper
- 4 large sesame seed hamburger buns
- 4 Boston lettuce leaves
- 1 tomato, thinly sliced
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine all the ingredients. Refrigerate.
