Bocconcini, Tomato and Basil Panini
Ingredients
- 4 panini rolls sliced in half horizontally
- Olive oil
- 4 large bocconcini, sliced (200 g)
- 8 tomato slices
- 20 leaves fresh basil, or to taste
- Fleur de sel or Maldon salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Brush the inside of the rolls or the bread slices with olive oil.
- Arrange the cheese and tomatoes on half the bread slices or on 1 side of the open rolls. Season with salt and pepper. Add the basil. Close the sandwiches.
- In a lightly oiled grill pan over medium heat, heat the sandwiches 3 to 4 minutes a side, pressing with a spatula. Alternatively, heat the sandwiches in a panini.
