Ingredients

  • 1 tsp ground allspice
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch ground cloves
  • 3/4 cup (135 g) fine bulgur wheat
  • 3/4 lb (340 g) lean ground beef
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion, 1/2 finely chopped, 1/2 cut into chunks
  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup (35 g) walnuts, chopped
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients and set aside.
