Whipped Creamy Yogurt

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) 10% mf plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) 35% cream
  • 1/3 cup (75 ml) sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
  • 1 silver gas charger (N2O) cartridge
  • 1 2 cups (500 ml) whipped-cream siphon, cold

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together all the ingredients until the sugar has dissolved.
  2. Pour the mixture into the siphon. Close to seal. Screw the cartridge to release the gas into the siphon.
  3. Shake the siphon several times upside down to allow the gas to properly distribute into the preparation. Keep the siphon vertically upside-down and gently press the lever to garnish a fruit salad (see recipe Citrus Salad with Gingerbread Syrup), pancakes or any other dessert.
  4. Refrigerate until ready to serve. However, you must shake it again upside down before use.
