Ingredients
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) lemon juice (about 3)
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) unsalted butter
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 cup (150 ml) sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) salt
- 1 baked 9 inch (23 cm) shortcrust or shortbread pie crust
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) sugar
- 3 egg whites
Instructions
- With the rack in the lowest position, preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
