Strawberry Squares
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups (310 ml) quick cooking rolled oats
- 1 cup (250 ml) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) whole-wheat flour
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) brown sugar
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) unsalted butter, softened
- 5 cups (1.25 litres) hulled and sliced fresh strawberries
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) cornstarch
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) sugar
Instructions
- Butter a 20-cm (8-inch) square pan. With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 190 °C (375 °F).
