Pear, Date and Cream Cheese Muffins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 block (125 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) honey
  • 2 cups (300 g) unbleached all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup (105 g) brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup (150 ml) milk
  • 1 pear, peeled, cored and diced
  • 1/2 cup (85 g) fresh dates, pitted and chopped

Instructions

  1. With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper or silicone liners.
