Flavoured Fruit Syrups
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) water
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) sugar
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh ginger, grated
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) water
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) sugar
- Grated zest and juice of 1 lemon or 1 lime
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) water
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) sugar
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) chopped fresh mint
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring the water and sugar to a boil. Stir until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from the heat. Add the remaining ingredients and let steep for 10 minutes. Strain and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
