Cinnamon Praline Cake

- 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups (315 g) brown sugar
- 1 cup (100 g) pecans, chopped
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 1/2 cups (375 g) unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup (225 g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups (315 g) sugar
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) vanilla extract
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup (250 ml) plain yogurt
- 1 cup (210 g) brown sugar
- 1/4 cup (55 g) unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) 35% cream
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) rum (optional)
Инструкции
- With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Generously butter and flour a 9-inch (23 cm) tube pan.
- In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients. Set aside.
