Caramelized Bananas with Fruit Salad
Ingredients
- ¼ pineapple, peeled and diced
- 1 small mango, peeled and diced
- 1 kiwi, peeled and diced
- ½ cup (105 g) sugar
- 4 unpeeled bananas, cut in half lengthwise
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the pineapple, mango, kiwi and 2 tbsp of the sugar. Let marinate for 10 minutes (see note).
- Place the bananas, cut side up, on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with the remaining sugar and caramelize using a small kitchen torch.
- Place two banana halves on each plate. Top with the fruit salad.
