Ingredients
- 1 cup (250 ml) sugar
- 1 cup (250 ml) water
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) honey
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice
- 1 long lemon zest
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 clove
- 1 cup (250 ml) blanched whole almonds
- 1 cup (250 ml) unsalted pistachios
- 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) walnuts
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) sugar
- 1 to 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) ground cinnamon
- 12 sheets phyllo dough, thawed
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) salted butter, melted
Instructions
- With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 150 °C (300 °F). Butter a 33 X 23-cm (13 X 9-inch) baking dish.
