Warm Charlevoix’s Migneron Cheese and Strawberry Loaf
Ingredients
- 1 small 7-inch (18-cm) in diameter loaf of bread
- 5 oz (150g) Migneron Charlevoix cheese, cubed
- 1 cup (250 ml) sliced strawberries
- raspberries
- pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium heat or the oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
- Cut and remove the top of the bread. Remove the crumb with your fingers.
- Keep the crumb for another use.
- Scatter the cheese into the bread. Place the strawberries or raspberries on the cheese. Season with pepper. Wrap the bread in aluminum foil.
- Bake for about 25 minutes. You can lift the bread cap to make sure the cheese is melted. Continue cooking for several minutes if necessary.
- When serving, put the bread in the centre of the table. Let everyone cut and share the bread.
