Traditional Guacamole
This authentic Mexican guacamole recipe is made with a mortar and pestle to easily puree the avocados.
Ingredients
- 6 ripe avocados, peeled and halved
- 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 small garlic clove, chopped
- ¼ cup (10 g) cilantro, finely chopped
- ¼ cup (60 ml) lime juice
Instructions
- In a blender, purée all of the ingredients until smooth. Season generously with salt. Serve with corn chips.
