Three-Onion Papillote
Ingredients
- 1 large white onion, sliced
- 1 large red onion, sliced
- 10 oz (300 g) cipollini onions, peeled
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the gas grill, setting the burners to low.
- In a bowl, combine the onions, oil and vinegar. Season with salt and pepper. Place the onions in the centre of a large sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Fold up the sides and crimp the edges to make a tightly sealed packet. Grill until the onions are tender,
- about 45 minutes.
- Serve with Beef Brochettes with Capers and Parmesan.
