Simplified Vietnamese Coffee
Ingredients
- 1 cup (250 ml) ice cubes, about
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) sweetened condensed milk
- ¼ cup (20 g) coffee beans, finely ground
- 2/3 cup (150 ml) hot water
Instructions
- In a tall glass filled with ice cubes, slowly pour the condensed milk down the side of the glass.
- Place the ground coffee in the filter and set over the glass. Pour the hot water over the coffee and let drip onto the ice, about 5 minutes. Once the hot water has run through the filter, remove the filter and compost the coffee grounds.
- Stir the coffee well. Serve with a reusable straw, if desired.
