Seasoned Brown Butter
Ingredients
- ½ cup (115 g) butter
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled and halved
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 thyme sprig
- 1 clove
Instructions
- In a small pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the remaining ingredients. Cook the butter until it is starting to brown and is no longer frothy. Quickly pour it into a bowl (do not strain it). Season with pepper.
- Drizzle the brown butter over mashed potatoes, grilled meats or white fish.
