Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons (45 ml) butter
- 3 tablespoons (45 ml) flour
- 2 cups (500 ml) milk
- Salt and pepper
- 1 cup (250 ml) chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) butter
- 5 cups (1.25 litres) shredded cabbage
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) Yukon Gold potatoes, diced
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
- 3 cups (750 ml) breadcrumbs
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1/8 teaspoon (0.5 ml) cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) whole-grain mustard
- 3 tablespoons (45 ml) fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) grated Gruyère cheese
Instructions
- With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 200 °C (400 °F).
