Oven-Roasted Sweet Potatoes
Ricardo’s recipe: Oven-Roasted Sweet Potatoes
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons (45 ml) olive oil
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) maple syrup
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 4 unpeeled sweet potatoes, cut into 1-inch (2.5-cm) thick wedges
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 200 °C (400 °F). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- In a large bowl, combine the oil, syrup, and garlic. Add the potatoes and toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper. Spread on the baking sheet and bake for about 45 minutes, stirring frequently until golden brown and tender.
