Marinara Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
- 1 can (28 oz/796 ml) crushed tomatoes with purée
- 3 tbsp basil leaves, finely chopped
Instructions
- In a pot, soften the garlic in the oil. Add the tomatoes. Bring to a boil, cover with a splatter screen if needed and simmer gently for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the basil. Season with salt and pepper and mix well.
