Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp rosemary leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 lemon wedge
  • 2 small rosemary sprigs, each 1 ½ inches (4 cm) long
  • 2 oz (60 ml) white apple vermouth
  • 1 oz (30 ml) gin
  • 1/2 oz (15 ml) lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz (15 ml) maple syrup
  • Finely crushed ice cubes (see note)
  • Cold maple taffy, to taste

Instructions

  1. On a small plate, combine the sugar and rosemary. Rub the rim of a lowball whisky glass with the lemon wedge. Coat the rim of the glass with the rosemary sugar. Set aside.
