Ingredients
- 3 tbsp (45 ml) boiling water
- 1 tsp matcha tea powder
- 1 tsp (5 ml) maple syrup
- 1 cup (250 ml) barista-style coconut beverage, cold
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) ice cubes
Instructions
- In a small bowl, vigorously whisk the boiling water and matcha powder until the matcha has dissolved. Add the maple syrup and half (½ cup/125 ml) of the coconut beverage.
- With an electric milk frother or handheld frother, cold foam the remaining coconut beverage.
- Place the ice cubes in a large glass. Pour in the matcha mixture. Top with the frothed coconut beverage. Serve with a straw, if desired.
