Honey Bourbon Sauce
This honey bourbon sauce keeps well in the fridge.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) honey
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) tomato paste
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) bourbon
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp (5 ml) white wine vinegar
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- In a small pot, combine all of the ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring with a whisk. Add pepper to taste. Let simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. The honey bourbon sauce will keep for 10 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
