Gochujang Sauce
This complex and versatile condiment is made from fermented red chili. Basically Korean ketchup, this fiery-hot sauce goes with everything!
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) fermented chili paste (gochujang)
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) plum syrup or brown sugar
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) soy sauce
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine all the ingredients. The sauce will keep for 1 week in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- Delicious with our Pork Bulgogi.
