Ginger Spritz
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp cane sugar
- 1 lemon wedge
- ½ cup (125 ml) ice cubes
- 2 oz (60 ml) bitter citrus liqueur
- 2 oz (60 ml) ginger beer
- 2 oz (60 ml) sparkling water
- 1 tsp (5 ml) lemon juice
- ½ orange slice
- 1 basil leaf (optional)
Instructions
- Place the sugar on a small plate. Rub the rim of a spritz cocktail glass or a large wine glass with the lemon wedge. Dip the rim in the sugar to coat.
- Place the ice cubes in the glass. Pour in the citrus liqueur, ginger beer, sparkling water and lemon juice. Garnish with the orange slice and a basil leaf, if desired.
