Crispy Spiced Pitas
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 teaspoons (7.5 ml) poppy seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) curry powder
- 2 6-inch (15-cm) whole wheat pita bread
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
- Separate the two layers of the pitas by cutting around the edges with scissors.
- In a bowl, blend the spices. Brush the pita with the oil and sprinkle with the spice mixture. Place on a baking sheet. Bake for about 7 minutes or until crisp.
- Serve with Lentil Soup.
