Clementine Spritz
This revisited spritz cocktail is made with Aperol, sparkling wine and clementine juice. For a pretty frosted effect, rub half of the edge of the glass in sugar flavoured with clementine zest.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 clementine, zest finely grated, cut into wedges
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) Aperol or other bitter orange liqueur, cold
- 1 ½ cups (375 ml) clementine or orange juice, cold
- 1 ½ cups (375 ml) Prosecco or other dry sparkling wine, cold
- 1 clementine, cut into thin rounds
Instructions
- On a small plate, combine the sugar, salt and clementine zest.
- Rub half of the rim of six Champagne coupes with a clementine wedge. Coat the rim of each glass with the sugar mixture.
