Clemence’s Lemonade
Ingredients
- 5 cups (1.25 litres) ice water
- 1 cup (250 ml) sugar
- 1 cup (250 ml) lemon juice (about 4 lemons)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, bring 250 ml (1 cup) of the water to a boil with the sugar, stirring until the sugar has melted into a syrup.
- Pour the syrup into a pitcher and add the remaining ice water. Stir well. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator for about 2 hours. Pour the lemonade into glasses and add ice cubes.
