Cherry and Bourbon Cola
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups (205 g) frozen cherries (see note)
- 1/4 cup (55 g) sugar
- 1 cup (250 ml) bourbon
- 1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) vanilla
- 2 oz (60 ml) cherry bourbon
- 1/2 oz (15 ml) amaretto-style almond liqueur (optional)
- 1 lemon wedge
- Ice cubes
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) cola, cold
- 2 macerated cherries
- 2 fresh cherries
Instructions
- In a 3-cup (750 ml) glass jar, combine all of the ingredients. Tightly seal the jar. Let sit at room temperature, shaking the jar a few times, for 24 to 48 hours or until the sugar has completely dissolved (see note).
