Basic Béchamel Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) butter
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) flour
- 1 cup (250 ml) milk
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the flour and cook, whisking constantly, for 1 minute.
- Whisk in the milk and cook until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
