Balsamic Reduction

Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped 

  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) butter
  • 1 cup (250 ml) balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) honey

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, soften the garlic in the butter. Add the vinegar and honey. Bring to a boil and reduce over medium heat until the mixture is slightly syrupy, about 15 minutes. Let cool.
  2. Delicious with Balsamic-Glazed Shrimp Skewers.
