Bagel Chips
Ingredients
- 2 bagels (1 or 2 days old)
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) spices of your choosing (smoked paprika, chili powder, ground cumin, curry powder, cayenne, etc.)
- Salt
Instructions
- With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Set the bagels on a cutting board and slice vertically into thin chips.
- In a bowl, combine the oil and the spices.
- Place the bagel slices on a baking sheet. Brush with spiced oil. Turn the slices over and brush again with oil. Season with salt. Bake until lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Let cool completely.
- Store in an airtight container.
- Serve with dips such as hummus or as an accompaniment to soup.
