Almond Hot Chocolate with Crushed Cranberry Meringue
This cozy hot cocoa is made with almond milk and almond butter. Perfect for sipping on Christmas morning!
Ingredients
- 4 cups (1 litre) fortified almond beverage (sweetened)
- 4 oz (115 g) dark chocolate 56%, chopped
- 3 tbsp (45 ml) almond butter
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) 35% cream
- 1 1/2 tsp sugar
- A few pieces cranberry meringue
Instructions
- In a pot, combine all of the ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium heat, whisking constantly.
