Pecan and Graham Cracker Tea Cake
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) brown sugar
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup (250 ml) unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) baking powder
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) unsalted butter, softened
- 2/3 cup (150 ml) brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) sour cream
Instructions
- With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F). Butter and line a 23 x 13-cm (9 x 5-inch) loaf pan with a strip of parchment paper, letting it hang over both sides.
