Green Pea and Fish Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 4 cups (1 litre) frozen peas, thawed
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) butter
  • 1/3 cup (75 ml) unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups (500 ml) milk
  • 1 cup (250 ml) chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) breadcrumbs
  • 12 lasagna noodles, cooked al dente
  • 1 1/2 lbs (675 g) white fish fillets, cut into pieces if needed
  • 2 cups (500 ml) grated mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. In a blender, purée the peas with the broth until smooth. Add broth, if needed. Season with salt and pepper.
