Sundae Crumble
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) quick-cooking rolled oats
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) brown sugar
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) unsalted butter, softened
Instructions
- With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients and add the butter. Combine until the mixture is crumbly. With your fingers, press into 15 ml (1 tablespoon) small pieces and spread on the baking sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes, or until the crumble is golden brown. Allow to cool.
- Store in an airtight container.
- Serve with the Strawberry Pie Sundae or the Lemon Pie Sundae.
