Ingredients
- 3 tbsp (45 ml) vegetable oil
- 3 tbsp (45 ml) water
- 3 tbsp (45 ml) miso
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) sauce soya
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) rice viengar
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tsp (10 ml) sambal oelek
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients except for the chicken. Add the chicken and coat well in the marinade. Cover and let marinate for 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the barbecue, setting the burners to high (see note).
- Drain the chicken and discard the marinade. Grill the chicken for 4 minutes on each side. Extinguish one section of the barbecue. Transfer the chicken to this section of the grill and cook over indirect heat for 4 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. Transfer to a plate and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with rice and a green vegetable or green salad, if desired.
