Ингредиенты

  • 4 boneless pork chops, each about ¾ inch (2 cm) thick, or 1 ½ lb (675 g) sliced pork shoulder (see note)
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (250 ml) chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) whole-grain mustard
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) 35% cream

Инструкция

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the pork chops in the oil. Season with salt and pepper. Place in a slow cooker.
  2. In the same skillet, brown the onions in the leftover pork cooking fat. Sprinkle with the flour and mix well. Add the broth and mustard. Bring to a boil while stirring. Season with salt and pepper. Pour over the pork chops in the slow cooker.
  3. Cover and cook on Low for 5 hours.
  4. When ready to serve, add the cream to the sauce. Serve the pork chops and mustard sauce with a green salad or buttered noodles, if desired.
