Hot Dogs with Braised Cabbage and Spicy Mayonnaise
Ingredients
- ½ cup (125 ml) mayonnaise
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 2 cups (170 g) red cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) red or white wine vinegar
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 yellow bell pepper, seeded and cut into strips
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil
- 4 mild Italian sausages
- 4 hot dog buns
- ½ cup (15 g) cilantro leaves
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients. Season with salt and pepper. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
