Family-Style Spicy Thai Beef
Serve this tasty beef recipe family-style and let everyone build their own bowl!
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) soy sauce
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) lime juice
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) fish sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) red curry paste
- 1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp fresh ginger, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp lemongrass, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 bird’s eye chili peppers, seeded and finely chopped
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) fish sauce
- 1 package (300 g) rice vermicelli
- 3 cups (255 g) red cabbage, thinly sliced on a mandoline
- 3 Lebanese cucumbers, cut into rounds
- 3 green onions, thinly sliced
- 3 cups (225 g) bean sprouts
- 1 cup (30 g) cilantro leaves
- 1 cup (20 g) mint leaves
