Faux Fried Chicken Fingers
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) plain 10% yogurt
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp chives, finely chopped
- Tabasco sauce to taste
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) plain 10% yogurt
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 3 egg whites
- 1 1/2 lb (675 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips about 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) vegetable oil
- 2 cups (250 g) dried breadcrumbs
Instructions
- In In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Season with salt and pepper. Refrigerate until ready to use.
- With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
