Grape Spoon Sweet
Serve homemade Greek yogurt with grapes in syrup, our riff on spoon sweets, the preserves traditionally offered to guests in Greece.
Ingredients
- 3 cups (525 g) seedless grapes
- 3/4 cup (160 g) sugar
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) water
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) lemon juice
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, bring all the ingredients to a boil, then simmer for 20 minutes or until the grapes become translucent and the liquid is slightly syrupy.
- Let cool completely. Serve with homemade Greek yogurt. The grape spoon sweet will keep for 2 weeks in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
